I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. After graduation I moved back to the Gold Coast where I underwent my pre-registration training at Gold Coast Hospital Pharmacy. I worked at the Gold Coast Hospital for two and a half years with rotations in Surgery, Oncology, Renal Medicine, and Paediatrics.
On leaving the Gold Coast hospital I moved to England and worked as a renal pharmacist, a Surgical Directorate Pharmacist, and was involved with the hospital discharge planning committee at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RD&E). After leaving the RD&E I worked for the Ministry of Defence at a naval hospital in Gosport England, where I was a surgical pharmacist.
I returned to Australia in 2005 and bought a 1/3 share of Greg Keily Chemist, and as of July 2015 became one of 4 partners in the business.
My main roles in the pharmacy are mainly based in the dispensary, and vaccination services in the pharmacy. In addition to this I have input into the management of our aged care services, provide IT and HRM services for the business.
Outside of work I am involved with providing pharmacy services to festivals (Splendour in the Grass, Blues Fest, CMC Ipswich and Big Red Bash). In addition I provide pharmacy services to touring artists in the area. On occasions I assist with students in the local School or Pharmacy.
When I am not at work, I enjoy Scuba Diving, Cycling, and spending time with my wife, my two " Little Rascals ", friends, and my Border Collie, Cody.
